    Go GoCardless!

With membership subscription renewals becoming due in the coming months amongst the backdrop of uncertainty concerning further Covid19 measures and access to the office, it becomes increasingly challenging for ESC to process cheques and cash to settle outstanding invoices. Please could we ask, for those who have not done so already, to set up the direct debit 'GoCardless' payment system as soon as possible. This would be enormously helpful, especially with 2021 subscriptions become

    Pickle Night Saturday 31 October

We have had more requests for tables at Trafalgar Night than space would allow. We therefore looked at running a separate Dinner on the following Saturday evening (31 st ). The evening is called "Pickle Night" and follows the same format as Trafalgar Night with the exception that the dress is jacket and tie (not 'black tie'). The historical background behind the evening is as follows. Pickle was the first ship to bring

The Historic Records Group needs you!

Can you help to look after the Club's history? The Historical Records Group (HRG) is appealing for volunteers to help maintain our collection of historical documents, photos and current records, both digital and on paper. Did you enjoy, during our centenary year, seeing the exhibition showing how the Club - and sailing - had evolved over the years? It was made possible by the fact that many paper documents and photographs had been saved

Georgia takes unwanted or damaged artificial rope and upcycles it, weaving it into beautiful bags. So instead of adding to the club's general waste, our unwanted rope becomes a
