Emsworth Sailing Club RS Tera Open, 8 October 2022

An autumn Open Meeting always brings more weather risks, so there was much relief amongst the organisers and race officers when the day arrived with sparkly sunshine and a gentle (many would say too gentle!) breeze. 32 young competitors (aged from 9 15) duly registered on the morning with 19 visitors and 13 club sailors. We had visitors from Warsash, Netley, Frensham, Felpham, Hayling Island but our furthest visitor came from Dale

Macmillan Coffee Morning. It's a wrap!

The sun shone for our annual fundraiser, and it was another great success as our Club opened its doors to members and non-members for coffee and cake and the usual stalls. We welcomed 177 people through the door, not to mention the 20 volunteers, plus the stall holders, and Ollie's team. The Club was buzzing. There were 8 local artists and makers, Friends of Chichester Harbour and Terror and the RNLI as well as our

Yet again the pool cover has been messed up by someone closing it incorrectly - this is the 6th time this year. Each time this happens, the pool volunteers have to spend up to half an hour sorting it out often at 8pm at night when the pool is locked up. When this happens it increases the risk of damaging the cover which would cost us well over £1,000 to replace. The pool
