Americas Cup 36 Fireside Chat 5 March

We are pleased to announce a fireside (Zoom) chat to prepare us all for the Americas Cup. We have a star cast of Mark Covell, Chips Howarth, Simon Payne and James Grant. Between them they are multiple world champions , Americas Cup crew, Olympics medallists and possibly they have a smattering of Blue Peter Badges to boot. They will be offering insight and discussion about the teams and the regatta followed by a Q&A session. Format
We have a cast of four esteemed sailors who will put forward a short review of an aspect of the current AC36 class and challenge. Each will be followed by a panel discussion and expect some interesting insight and chat as they chew over each of the topics. The panel will be hosted by Mark Holliday who will endeavour to keep some order and share the discussion across all four of these strong characters. Please feel free to send in questions in advance to the webmaster@emsworthsc.org.uk. On the night you may submit them through the Zoom chat so the panel can consider and give their view. The topics will cover crew communication, how the cup has evolved over the past 20 years, the rig and the foils and of course a review of the INEOS challenge.
